'The branches of the Astral Corridor weave through time and space, echoing fractured realities once thought forgotten. The archivists of the Black Archives work tirelessly to catalogue these tales, reaching into the furthest depths of the corridor to glimpse what can never be.’
Black Archives is a TTRPG story spotlight event, as our house GMs weave tales from across the multiverse. These original stories are self-contained and setting-agnostic, intended for both experienced and newer players. We'll be featuring a variety of indie TTRPG systems alongside our regular D&D5E offerings!
Each session will feature it's own unique system and requirements, so be sure to read the full event description before ordering.

RETURN TO LAKE GARUDA (HOUSE GM:
PHIL)
SYSTEM: Kids On Bikes
THE STORY: Most residents of Lake Garuda are unaware of
the strangeness that exists just beneath the surface and between
the cracks of their quaint lakeside town. But the kids of Lake
Garuda know better. Hop on your bike, meet up with your friends and
explore the strange little corners in the town you call home.
Create and investigate rumours in your own 1980's supernatural
adventure with the Kids On Bikes system.
PRE-GENS PROVIDED?: Character sheets and 'troupes' will be
provided to kickstart character creation during the
game.
CONTENT WARNINGS: Cults, demonic possession, cryptids, drowning, abduction.
Hex Squad - Herald of the Deep (HOUSE
GM: RORY)
SYSTEM: D&D5E 2024
THE STORY: Welcome to Task Force Hex. It’s Suicide
Squad meets Arcane where players take on the role of Gloamtide
penitentiary inmates recruited into Task Force Hex, colloquially
known as the Hex Squad. A council-sanctioned, expendable, black-ops
intelligence unit comprising the prison’s most infamous inmates who
agree to undertake high-risk, covert missions in exchange for
commuted sentences. Its very existence? Denied. Its missions? Off
the record. Its survival rate? Minimal.
Your task? Simple. All you need to do is follow the Director’s instructions:
1 - Assail and destroy the drowned tower raised by the
Herald.
2 - Confront and eliminate the Herald atop their domain.
3 - Carry out all orders issued to you on mission without question or hesitation.

PRE-GENS PROVIDED?: No pre-gens. Please build a level 12 character according to these Character Creation Guidelines.
This is a high-level game, prior
D&D experience is required.

Code of Conduct: We expect all players to read and abide by our Code of Conduct at all times. This can be found here: https://arcaniststavern.uk/safety. Any breach of our code of conduct will lead to a cautioning or permanent ban from the venue.
Lateness: All sessions begin at 6.30PM promptly. If you arrive after this time we may not be able to guide you to your table. In these instances you will not be refunded. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before the ticketed start time for the best experience.
Outside Food: We are an independent business, and do not allow outside food or drink to be consumed on the premises.
Animals: We do not allow animals to attend any of our ticketed events, partnered or otherwise. This is due to sensory, allergy and trigger issues.
