Welcome 2018 in style on the Southbank. Along with designated access to the ticket-only New Year’s fireworks, easily accessible from our location right on the Thames, your booking will include:
- a delicious 5-course Mexican feast
- a freshly shaken margarita on arrival
- beer & wine all evening
- champagne at midnight
- a live DJ until 3am
The evening's menu includes Mexican street food starters, followed by a magnificent make-your-own tacos board with fillings such as slow-cooked beef shin, confit duck and carrot & celeriac tinga. You'll get a tequila taster course in between, and finish off with the firm favourite - churros with a rich chocolate dipping sauce. At midnight we'll head outside to our nearby designated area on the Southbank to get best views of the fireworks. Afterwards, head back in for more drinks and dancing with a DJ until 3am.
As Wahaca Southbank is within a restricted access area on New Year’s Eve – giving you the best views of the Mayor’s fireworks – all guests must have a ticket under their name and must arrive between 19:00 to 19:30h to gain entry to the area. The Southbank Centre operates a very strict entrance policy so you’ll need to be on time to avoid disappointment.

5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
