Folie, a new all-day Mediterranean brasserie and cocktail bar, is set to open this November in central Soho. Housed in the former Pizza Express on Golden Square - a very lucrative position - the swanky eatery will bring 60s and 70s St Germain-style cool to London with a range of Riviera-inspired furnishings. On the menu will be a host of classic dishes including croque madame and salad nicoise, alongside sharing platters such as charcoal grilled sea bream with ratatouille and cheese boards.

The restaurant’s owner, Guillaume Depoix, has also promised to offer a competitively-priced lunch menu of popular dishes ‘reworked for the wellness generation’. For those looking for an after-work drink or two the stylish bar will be serving martinis, negronis and vermouths as well as a number of wines.
