Having had the pleasure of performing Drake’s seminal ‘Take Care’, Re:imagine reached new heights of musical quality. With a stellar performance and 5 sold out shows to show for it, we have decided to perform an orchestral rendition of ‘Views’, exploring Drake’s musical mastery further.
When ‘Views’ dropped in April 2016, the world fully acknowledged that Drake was now a cult figure. Rave reviews secured Views number one on the Billboard chart for 13 weeks, while achieving quadruple platinum sales, it fast becoming the album of the year for critics and fans alike.
Featuring production from Kanye West, 40, Wizkid and more, Drake assembled a collection of low slung beats, with tight rapping and inventive melodies, giving rise to world beating singles such as ‘Hotline Bling’ & ‘One Dance’.
Marking his first full foray into Dancehall, and featuring single artwork by the logo designer from Comme des Garcons, the album established Drake as the staple of contemporary Hip-Hop culture.
