The HHK night itself was lit! There was so much love and support in the room for every performer and the energy of the place was such a vibe. Unfortunately, the security guy's outside on the door were really rude (stink attitude, rude in their manner, one just stared me down for ages face to face - for no reason at all.... it was really intimidating as a girl tbh) and that part did taint the night, as it was unnecessary and uncalled for. However, once inside.... other than being ignored at the bar for a good part of 10 minutes - even after pulling him up on the fact he was serving that came after me (so many people were served before me i lost count - ridiculous!), the actual event itself was really really good with a great crowd and fab hosts. I would like to go again and make it a regular spot but i was kinda put off by the way i was treated by the venue staff. Polite suggestion for HHK, maybe change the venue back to The Social at Tottenham Court Rd where your customers / guests were treated much better!
