and Chip Day on June 6th, and Mama's here to celebrate Britain’s
most iconic duo (sorry, Ant & Dec).
Every year, on the first Friday in June, the nation unites to
honour the crispy, golden joy that is fish and chips. It’s not just
a meal — it’s a moment. A memory. A slightly greasy, utterly
delicious hug for your soul.
Fish and chips have been a staple of British life since the 1860s.
Fun fact: During WWII, fish and chips were one of the few foods not
rationed. Because when things get tough, the nation still needs its
fry fix.

it quite like the UK. It’s the crisp outside, the fluffy inside,
