A rooftop bar inspired by Hollywood's Laurel Canyon? Yeah, you heard that right. The Mondrian in Shoreditch is about to get hearts racing with its brand-spanking-new hotel bar Laurel's On The Roof. This chic haunt is touting 1970s Californian glamour, adorned with pretty greenery and chic low-hanging rattan chandeliers. Don't be fooled into thinking this is just a stunning terrace, as there will also be plenty of music to get everyone on their feet. Think ambient soul, alongside electric beats, which will extend into live DJ sets every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Boasting a nostalgic menu, perfect for a morning catch up with pals over buttermilk pancakes, or an evening meal, with sea bream tacos, pickled red cabbage, chipotle mayonnaise and beer-battered fish. Thirsty folk will also have plenty of playful bevvies to choose from too, like the frozen spicy margaritas and canyon cobblers, served with pisco, lime, honey and sparkling wine.
