Join us at Juju's to experience the launch of 'PA1N T1NG', a powerful new exhibition from British-Iranian artist Nina Fini! Merging figuarive expressionism with abstraction, Nina's work is chaotic, emotional and explores duality through both form, subject and style.
We're super excited to see Nina's unique artistic style displayed at Juju's, accompanied by incredible live music from Gal Go & Sheiva, plus a killer vinyl DJ set from Bozak!! Free entry all night, so don't miss out!
ABOUT NINA FINI
Nina Fini is a British-Iranian artist based in London. Her visual language explores the juxtaposition of duality in both form, subject and style, resulting in fragmented depictions of persona that tread the line between masculine and feminine, lyricism and line, poetry and filth; beauty and chaos. Her work merges figurative expressionism with abstraction, often largely chaotic and ranging from large-scale practice that explores the physicality of mark making using acrylic, spray paint and graphite to smaller works that retain the same emotional dialect. Her work explores and seeks to be in service of the personal and collective wounds of the Self, honouring totality by honouring fragmentation through a broken language of text, colour, image and emotion.
Her work has been featured in the likes of Moniker Art Fair, Casa Viva in Mexico City, Vice Beats for the J Dilla Foundation, Iaysha Salih in London and many more.
ABOUT GAL GO
Gal Go Ignacio Salvadores is an Argentinian multi-instrumentalist. He records and mixes everything in his home studio in London. Ignacio was one of the forces behind King Krule’s Mercury Prize nominated The Ooz and named as one of the central influences for Man Alive, King Krule’s most recent record. New album 2021 Gal Go Grey follows Ignacio’s 2020 solo project, Vacio Fuego, which Pitchfork called “a burst of passion that’s mysterious and striking.”

A central figure of London’s underground music scene, their creative talent and vibrant energy knows no bounds: their music draws from a vast range of formative musical inspirations spanning the traditional Iranian sounds taken from summers at their family home to the pop music they would swap and share with their friends in school. With a boundary-defying, unrestrained and unapologetic approach, SHEIVA brings their infectious energy to the party.
