Mamma Mia! We've put
together an 8 piece band to soundtrack everyone's favourite racing
game - whilst you have the chance to race on a huge screen!
Our band will be playing
all the best bits from Mario Kart through the years, including
classic courses, newer tracks and the starman theme - they'll even
speed up for the final lap! (don't worry though, we won't be
throwing shells or banana peels at you).
We'll be choosing audience
members at random to compete against each other throughout the
night for the all important 'Marioke Gold Cup'!
We'll also have more
screens for opportunities to play other games on the night as well
as themed cocktails and 20% off food before 8pm so you can re-fuel
before racing.

Tickets guarantee entry to
the event only, and not a space racing on the big screen.
Race registration for
those who want to play on the big screen starts from 6.00pm and
will last until 7.30pm. Names will be drawn at random from those
who enter - first race starting at 7.45!
Please note, the emphasis
at our events is on having a great time with your best pals whilst
listening to some of the greatest video game music ever composed
played live, we hope to see you there!

Will my ticket guarantee me a race on the big screen?
Your ticket will guarantee you entry to the venue to experience the band performances. To be in with a chance of racing on the big screen you'll need to turn up for race registration between 6pm-7.30pm. Our host will pull names at random and you'll need to make yourself known and get to the stage asap!
Is this event for serious gamers?
Whilst
we welcome a wide range of experienced Mario Kart players to
Marioke, our events focus more on the atmosphere created by having
an 8 piece band playing along to incredible music from our
favourite game, with a smaller focus on the competitive side so
please keep that in mind when joining us!
What version of Mario Kart will you be using?
We'll
be using Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch
How many players and races will there be per
round?
We'll run races based on a 'winner stays on' format so we can get as many people racing as possible. The final will consist of those with the best winning streaks throughout the night.
How will you select players?
Players
will be drawn at random by our host. To be eligible for the draw
you'll need to arrive for race registration between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Every round will have 3 players drawn at random (along with the
winner of the previous race) - we'll move quickly through this so
please stay aware, you'll have 10 seconds to make yourself known to
us before we move on to the next pick!
What engine class will you be running? Any other specs I
should know about?
150cc / normal
items / all characters allowed / no smart steering / no auto

Will you have other games to play for people who don't get
selected?
We'll have a small selection other games at the back of the room available for those who don't get selected to play in the races on the big screen. These will be included in the price of your ticket, please play nice!

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
