The EFG London Jazz Festival is the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival, taking place annually in November, which has long been acclaimed for showcasing a heady mix of talent from around the world. Widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars, the Festival continues to take jazz to a massive audience, in one of UK’s landmark music events. Following an exceptional edition last year, EFG London Jazz Festival returns with a programme of live performances by an electrifying lineup of global stars, special collaborations, and the finest and freshest music. On Sunday 13th November 2022 it is with great pleasure that we welcome Reina Rumba to Juju's Bar & Stage!
ABOUT REINA RUMBA
Established in 2021, all-female band Reina Rumba is the sister band of "Guerrera" orchestra, the UK’s only 10 piece all female Latin music orchestra. Consisting of bass, brass, piano, percussion and vocals, the "party queens" perform a range of Latin musical styles from salsa to son, cumbia, bachata and bolero to name just a few.
The name of the band takes inspiration from Celia Cruz’s song “Reina Rumba” which talks about the female spirit at the core of this afro-tropical rhythm rumba. In this way Reina Rumba aims to bring this energetic female spirit to its music and performance.
ABOUT DJ JAVIER LA ROSA
DJ Javier La Rosa has been DJ-ing in the UK since his arrival from Cuba several years ago, playing Salsa and Timba Cubana, Reggaeton, Latin, Hip-Hop and R&B . Javier has supported many of Cuba’s greatest musicians in concert in the UK and France, including Los Van Van, Pupy Y Los Que Son Son, Maykel Blanco, Havana De Primera, Elito Reve Y Sy Charangon, Sierra Maestra, Osvaldo Chacon, Paulito FG, Sur Caribe, Manolito Simonet Y Su Trabuco and Candido Fabre.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
