The EFG London Jazz Festival is the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival, taking place annually in November, which has long been acclaimed for showcasing a heady mix of talent from around the world. Widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars, the Festival continues to take jazz to a massive audience, in one of UK’s landmark music events. Following an exceptional edition last year, EFG London Jazz Festival returns with a programme of live performances by an electrifying lineup of global stars, special collaborations, and the finest and freshest music. On Sunday 20th November 2022 it is with great pleasure that we welcome Osvaldo Chacón to Juju's Bar & Stage!
ABOUT OSVALDO CHACON
Composer, producer and songwriter Osvaldo Chacón (or “El Professor de la Timba”, as he was baptized in Peru), has performed alongside Latin greats including Adalberto Santiago, Azuquita, Tito Allen (Fania All Stars), Roberto Plat, Salsaceltica, Eddie Palmieri, Chick Corea and Latin percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo, as well as America's supreme luminaries Celia Cruz, Oscar d'León, Rubén Blades and Alberto 'El Canario'. Chacon has played extensively with his band at festivals across the UK and Europe including Cuba Presente! Festival, the Clerkenwell Festival, the World Beat Festival in Morecombe Bay, Musicport in Whitby, as well as headlining at the Barbican Center, Royal Festival Hall, the Millennium Dome and Africa Centre. A regular at The Jazz Cafe and other iconic London venues, the band have earned a reputation as the UK’s leading Timba orchestra, while winning and being nominated several times at the prestigious LUKAS awards.
ABOUT DJ JAVIER LA ROSA
DJ Javier La Rosa has been DJ-ing in the UK since his arrival from Cuba several years ago, playing Salsa and Timba Cubana, Reggaeton, Latin, Hip-Hop and R&B . Javier has supported many of Cuba’s greatest musicians in concert in the UK and France, including Los Van Van, Pupy Y Los Que Son Son, Maykel Blanco, Havana De Primera, Elito Reve Y Sy Charangon, Sierra Maestra, Osvaldo Chacon, Paulito FG, Sur Caribe, Manolito Simonet Y Su Trabuco and Candido Fabre.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.

9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
