What they say:

Death by Burrito is a lethally exciting concept of Mexican cocktails and grill moving in to Catch Bar in Shoreditch in early September, bringing liquid miles of Tequila and tricks up its sleeve.

The concept of murderous Burritos was created by the notorious Rebel Dining Society who have been showcasing bewildering culinary ideas featuring interactive art and live musical performances at their dining events in the past. Always with a strong focus on catching your imagination in immersive atmospheres, Catch DJ Bar in hip East London is next in line to be transfixed.

What we say:

As the name suggests if you choke on any of the tasty braised pork belly burritos, Baja fish tacos with guacamole and blue corn chips, lobster ceviche, grilled octopus or Poblano crêpes, and you wake up in heaven. Realistically though, your chances are bigger you wake up at the back of the night buss, naked but for the sombrero hat after a visit to the genius new cocktail department. Mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana (formerly of Worship St Whistling Shop, Purl & 69 Colebrook Row) has set his talents to create a tequila only cocktail list with Jose Cuervo Tradicional at its center, with perfectly balanced drinks to enhance and play of the Mexican street-food.
