With opulent fabrics, raw concrete, vintage wallpapers and various other quirky trinkets, interior design is a big deal to the guys at The Hope. They’ll be filling this captivating new space with friendly neighbourhood vibes, as well as a rotating real ale selection to behold. There’s to be a hearty choice of craft beer, fine wine and spirits too, and a lovely choice of seasonal British fare once the kitchen gets up and running.

If you’re local to Peckham you might well recognise a few familiar faces upon your first visit to The Hope. It’s a concept brought to Melon Road by the team who previously operated The Mantis, and now they’re back in town with a relaxed café-cum-bar concept with a charming local feel to it. Looks good for coffee and a catch up, a few real ales with the lads in the evening or a roast lunch with the family on Sunday.
