Mayfair's Legendary Langan's Brasserie Is Reopening With A Seafood Bar And Late-Night DJs

Langan's Brasserie

Opens

Now Open

If, like us, you were devastated to hear about the closure of Langan’s Brasserie, you’ll be happy to hear that it's set to reopen later this year with one helluva face lift. With Chucs Chairman Arricale and entrepreneur Hitchen at the helm, the icon will be returned to its former glory while being reimagined with modern touches. Now? It will spill over three floors, featuring a hint of 1920s decor and an invite-only lounge showcasing late-night DJs and live entertainment.

Alongside this, you'll find a chic dining room adorned with Hockney and Freud artworks, complete with a raw bar that's dedicated to dishing out premium seafood, including oysters and caviar. In the 80s, this was an institution in which you could rub shoulders with celebs, including Princess Margaret and Elton John, so we’re anticipating something just as alluring once it reopens.

When it comes to the food, expect nothing short of luxury. The menu will include lip-smacking British and French classics made with the finest-quality ingredients. You'll be able to tuck into dishes such as the freshly prepared beef tartare, a spinach soufflé paired with anchovy sauce, plus an impressive selection of seafood specials.

As the new opening will feature a well-stocked wine cellar, you'll get to enjoy an ample variety of European vinos to wash it all down. In the exclusive bar upstairs, you can sip on all manner of tipples, including cocktails and Champagne, available until the early hours of the morning.
