What they say:

The restaurant, bar and coffee roastery Caravan in London is proud to announce the opening of a second outpost in the recently renovated Granary Building in King€™s Cross. They promise us to keep the nomadic style of food and drink which contributed to the success of the original Caravan in Exmouth Market, but with a new pizza oven to make their offer even more accessible. The new Caravan venture also has a coffee roastery and large open kitchen and the bar itself is divided in two by wire mesh, with half of the bar dedicated to all-day dining and half to the coffee bar, with plenty of outside seating in the square too. It serves a "food well-travelled" menu all-day as well as importantly serving cocktails at the bar. Obviously this new restaurant bar offers delicious coffees, for which Caravan is famous for.

What we say:

The original Caravan in Exmouth Market enjoyed immediate success when it opened in early 2010. With an easy-going atmosphere, friendly staff, a modern but cosy interior and a surprising but user-friendly menu (from falafel to sourdough, polenta to merguez, and tahini to jalapeño) Caravan managed to delight a curious crowd. They roast and grind their own 100 per cent Arabica beans in wonderful scientific-looking apparatus. But when the evening comes the atmosphere livens up in the bar and you can enjoyably sip delectable cocktails like the Expresso Martini (Vodka, Caravan espresso, crème de cacao), taste a glass of wine from the long list available or simply have a fresh beer with your mates. Caravan in King's Cross will have a stunning factory vibe from the Granary Building in this vibrant emerging part of London.
