Hosting a unique Sherry drinking experience in the city, Drakes Tabanaco is a new restaurant bar in London with artisan flair at their core. From a U shape bar offering Sherry tasting sessions served traditionally from a barrel, to a 50 cover restaurant area boasting a selection of cured meats and Andalusian flavours; this Fitzrovia venue is in good company, found few doors down from Dabbous. Wooing their guests with what they consider the true 'misunderstood' tipple, Drakes Tabanaco take their inspiration from the home of Sherry, Jenez.
What we say:
Now we can't say that Sherry has been a staple on our drinks cabinet for a while now, but we're excited to see how Drakes Tabanaco could woo our tastebuds with their selection of barrel based treats. Headed by the chaps behind Barrica and Copita, we feel somewhat assured about their knowledge in the field as far flung flavours and drinks have always been their specialty. Certainly a venue set to be flooded by the suited and booted looking for a unique tipple in the city, Drakes Tabanaco's Sherry tastings and 50 cover bar will be perfect for those with artisan at heart.
