What better way to raise money for a good cause than a night on The Yacht London at the Early Mayday Masquerade Boat Party!
Dust off your glad rags, find a mask that resonates with your personality and join us on Saturday 13th April to make a positive impact. The venue will be The Yacht London and the music will be a mix of the smooth and rough just like the river its moored on.
This year, all proceeds from the event will be donated to The Aga Khan Foundation which thanks to a partnership with the European Commission means every £1 raised is multiplied to be worth £10! Now that really is bang for your buck!
Ticket includes: entry, raffle and a drink.
DRESS CODE
Traditionally, masquerade balls were elegant and formal affairs so start your costume with whatever you'd normally wear to a black tie event. Then simply add a mask to complete the look and your ready to go. Your costume can be as low-key or as extravagant as you like and if you’re not a particular fan of dressing up, you won’t look out of place if you don’t go all out.

In a unique nautical setting moored on the Thames, The Yacht London offers a unique experience with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of London. Please note that the boat will not be sailing and as such guests can disembark throughout the evening.
ABOUT THE CAUSE
AKF has partnered with the EU Commission to help 420,000 people
Together with the European Commission, AKF will work with the communities in North-East Afghanistan to help improve their resilience to the impact of the changing climate and develop sustainable ecosystems. Working mainly with women and youth in affected areas, the project will help 60,000 families - around 420,000 people.
The project will help people to improve farming techniques; develop physical barriers against natural disasters; rehabilitate vital forests; and develop new crops and farmland.
For every £1 raised, the European Commission will donate £9 to the project. And 100% of all money raised goes directly to the project. For example, a donation of £10 becomes £100. That's enough to provide year-round access to water for a family, or provide drought resistant crops to 100 households.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
