Thomas Dakin Gin and Chocolate Pairing Masterclass
Thomas Dakin is heralded as the forefather of English gin and his legacy lives on in this award-winning spirit. After recently being honoured with a Gin Master Award*, we will be hosting a daily gin and chocolate pairing masterclass here at Haggerston’s coolest cocktail bar, Map Maison, during London Cocktail Week.
Global Brand Ambassador, Alix Walker, will be hosting daily sessions where you can learn more about the original master of gin, Thomas Dakin, and discover its unmistakeable savoury character thanks to its unique combination of botanicals.
After a welcome drink, Alix will take guests through an intriguing history of gin followed by a unique cocktail and chocolate tasting with handcrafted chocolates from Manchester’s Master Chocolatier Jessica O’Keeffe of ‘In Truffle We Trust’ that specifically complement the World’s Best London Dry Gin. You’ll finish the 45-minute session with our signature London Cocktail Week cocktail – The Manchester Bee.

5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
