This September will see Merchant’s Heart, a new range of premium spirit enhancers, re-open cult cocktail bar, Silk Stockings in Dalston, for three weeks only!
Merchant’s Heart has been created by some of the best mixologists in the world specifically to pair perfectly with premium spirits. Because if this, the pop-up, launching officially on the 21st September, will see them collaborate with a range of premium spirit brands to host a series of cocktail masterclasses:
Wednesday 21st Sep: Patrón Tequila (virtual reality experience included)
Thursday 22nd Sep: Courvoisier Cognac
Wednesday 28th Sep: Martin Miller’s Gin
Wednesday 5t Oct: Havana Club Rum
Thursday 6th Oct: Kokoro Gin
The tastings will be lead by the Merchant’s Heart Brand Ambassador, Abdul Kpekawa, and a Brand Ambassador from the brand taking part that day.
Tickets include:
- You will get to try 2 drinks specially created for the occasion
- 1 of these drinks you will get behind the bar with Abdul to make yourself
- You will receive a goody bag including recipes of the drinks you made and a Merchant’s Heart premium Spirit Enhancer so that you can recreate your drink at home!

Aside from the masterclasses, entry to the Merchant’s Heart bar at Silk Stockings is free and the bar will be open from Wednesday – Saturday, 6.30pm - midnight until 8th October.
Local DJs will be on the decks every Friday and Saturday night. Delicious cocktails will be available every night.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
