This new addition to Clapham€™s nightlife, Zahra Bar, is a late night basement bar located on the lower ground floor of the recently opened Del€™Aziz Restaurant. Like Del€™Aziz, Zahra Bar€™s décor and ambience thrives of a Middle-Eastern theme and elegance. The basement bar is atmospheric with its interior of low level sofas covered with colourful cushions, decorative tables and twinkling lanterns.We seek to bring locals a spacious venue perfect for after-work drinks, relaxing and for a night-out. The cocktail menu consists of classics with a Zahra touch to it and some Zahra signature cocktails such as the Zahra cocktail, a tropical blend of pampero rum with pineapple, spices, lime topped up with the green fairy drink, absinthe (£7.50). The wine list is formed of wined from not only the Mediterranean but also Lebanon and Morocco.  The drinks can be enjoyed whilst watching belly dancers, listening to jazz or dancing the night away as the live DJ cracks up some hits. Zahra hosts evening entertainment from Wednesdays to Saturdays. The Middle-Eastern theme continues with the bar snacks menu of sharing mezzes, making Zahra the place to come for a light dinner and drinks for a date or with a small group of friends.
