Join Les Contes d'Alfonsina for an evening of roaring Gypsy Jazz with a modern twist!
The 4tet serves Gitan music inspired by the Manouche tradition and is marked by modern rhythm and harmony, the addition of original compositions and original lyrics.
Sofia ROMANO (vocals and lyrics) and Marco PAPADIA (guitar and compositions). The two musicians received the prize NEW ITALIAN JAZZ GENERATION in 2017 and in 2018 and they won several Jazz European Awards (Tuscia In Jazz European Award 2016, Fara Music Festival 2016, Nicola Arigliano Jazz Festival 2016).
Hugo PROY (clarinet) is a leading Parisian musician who has worked with the biggest names of manouche like Angelo Debarre, Sébastien Giniaux et Aurore Voilqué.
Fred GAIRARD (violin) young talent of Brussels Conservatory and protagonist of Manouche and Tzigane music scene in Brussels.
