As the home of live music, great cocktails and good times in The City, Eastcheap Records has quickly become a local favourite for a post-work party or weekend boogie. With well-established sister venues in Clapham Common, Battersea and Shoreditch, the newest and biggest Records bar is keeping up that stellar reputation of being one of the best party bars in London. Just a short walk from Monument tube station, the venue sits pretty on the corner of Eastcheap and Lovat Lane, housed in a grand 1883 building soaked in foodie history.
Step through the doors and you’ll find a music lover's heaven – not only will there be live music be pumping or a DJ raising the roof every night of the week, the bar is decked out with vinyl records and rock ‘n’ roll artwork. The trademark red neon glows in the corner of the main room, where you can find high tables, booth spaces and a raised seating area, all available to reserve any night of the week. Head past the stage to find two additional rooms, one with another dreamy-looking bar and a second stage, the perfect place to hire for a private do. The other – known as the Green Room – is ideal to host smaller private parties.
Feeling thirsty? Choose from a menu of specially curated cocktails, featuring a delicious mix of classics and originals. Happy hour runs every day from 'til 7pm where you can pick up 2-4-1 cocktails. Peckish? Alongside the pizzas made famous by the other Records bars, Eastcheap Records serves a small plates menu, featuring everything from mac ‘n’ cheese bites to pulled pork sliders. Vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters have all been accounted for on this forward thinking bar menu.
Eastcheap Records has it all: a crackin’ live music line-up, affordable but delicious cocktails, and the perfect food to fuel yourself for that dancefloor. Arrive early, party late.
