An Evening of Whisky & Words at B&H Garden Room

Join us at Bourne & Hollingsworth Garden Room for the ultimate Burns Night celebration. Laddies and lassies, don your finest tartan for a sophisticated evening of whisky cocktails, banqueting, poetry recitals high in the sky.

For the first time, rooftop restaurant and bar B&H Garden Room will host a grand four-course Burn’s Night Banquet in the heart of the West End. Set to the backdrop of London’s skyline, lassies and laddies will be welcomed in by a traditional piper, and invited to enjoy a freshly mixed whisky cocktail at the bar. Drinks in hand, the evening's proceedings will be introduced by our chairman, followed by a recital of The Selkirk Grace. 

A four course supper will be served, and guests can choose to have each course paired with a delicious dram or delectable cocktail. Dishes include Cullen Skink, whisky marinated salmon, cucumber, radish and lovage, the classic haggis, neeps and tatties with a whisky gravy, all finished off with B&H Cranachan and complemented with a lively rendition of the Scottish bard’s loving ode to whisky.

The Selkirk Grace will be recited, the haggis piped in, addressed and toasted, the immortal memory enacted, live music played, toasts to the lassies and a vote of thanks as the dinner draws to a close with everyone joining hands for a rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

Those looking for a more intimate celebration can choose to book out the Private Dining Room for an exclusive Burn’s Night supper for up to 25 people.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
