Phelps, a Canadian-born trumpet virtuoso and a mainstay of the international jazz scene, has shared the stage with legends like Wynton Marsalis, Amy Winehouse and Shabaka Hutchings. With over 700,000 streams globally and a reputation for thrilling live performances, Phelps brings his warm, projecting trumpet tone and unmatched energy to this Boisdale debut. His deep reverence for Davis’ artistry shines through in every note, as he reinterprets the music with fresh nuance and creativity.
