Mi-Soul Soulful Sundays Session presents Lukas Setto + Cornell CC Carter with DJs
Lucas Setto
Lukas Setto has proven himself to be a musician of extraordinary talent, the days and nights devoted to trawling through his father's extensive DJ collection of the Motown, soul and jazz greats is a testament to the dedication he has to his music and his devoted fanbase.
If the influences of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson collide with a new modern soul sound like The Weeknd and Bruno Mars Lukas has positioned himself at the forefront of that musical explosion.
Lukas influences are his base, but his craft of composition and writing began at College where his exploration of vocal melody and song writing began to be noticed to a wider audience.
At college, Lukas was the recipient of The Urban Music Award for Best Unsigned Artist, an accolade that was cemented by his breath-taking performance of the self -penned track "You Know Me".
