In a city that touts itself as one of the most inclusive in the world, it’s been especially sad to see the closure of so many LGBTQ+ venues in London this past decade. That’s why, when we heard of the trans-owned Zodiac in Camden, we just couldn’t wait to tell you about it. 

Run by the purple-haired hero Lady Jane Phoenix, this new gay bar is set to be a safe and welcoming space for the queer community. The venue is split over two floors, featuring a chilled cocktail joint at ground level and a club in the basement, both decked out with gorgeous pink hues, neon lights and plenty of disco balls.

Expect a brilliant roster of events throughout the week that showcase the best LGBTQ+ talent. Every Tuesday, the place will be taken over by the fabulous Luna Cortez, who will be helping you live all your karaoke dreams. Thanks to professional microphones, a brand-spanking-new sound system, lasers and a smoke machine, you'll be able to belt out all your favourite tunes with a bit of theatrical flair. On top of that? You can bank on wild drag bingo nights, cracking cabaret and pole dancing, as well as lots of live music and DJ sets. As for drinks, tantalise your tastebuds with their delicious selection of mixes, fresh pints and variety of spirits.
