Get into an all-night affair of incredible music moving through house, broken beat, jazz and more. Alternative artist Last Nubian takes to our stage for a special live show and his first live show of the year, while DJs Kojay & Beringei spin through dancefloor grooves. Come through on Friday, 23rd February from 7pm ' til close.
ABOUT LAST NUBIAN
Over the past few years Last Nubian real name Tre Wright has been quietly making a name for himself with his unique explorations into the worlds of house, techno, brokenbeat and beyond. Wright grew up with classic UK club music soundtracking everyday life, absorbing everything from grime, garage, and funky house to reggae through family, friends and, in particular, being gifted a particular DJ EZ Ministry of Sound compilation from his aunt.
Since then, Last Nubian has released a handful of crucial EPs on independent labels like Tiffs Joints, Woop Records and Flat White Records, for whom his Ghetto Child EP received gushing support from Pete Tong on Radio One, Mixmag and many more. The beginning of 2023 saw Last Nubians first independent release of the EP titled "We Got There First", a momentous 6-track EP that bridges the gap between broken beat, house and jazz, etching its mark as one of the most noteworthy projects to be released in 2023 so far.
ABOUT KOJAY
London-based DJ Kojay is an ever-present name on the London circuit, building momentum as one of the exciting names on the scene. With performances at Corsica Studios, Jumbi Peckham, Hootenanny Brixton and Tola Peckham just to name a few, Kojay’s versatility shines through his diverse mixes, with influences from jazz and RnB, right through to deep house and jungle breaks. Kojay is also known for his killer radio slots, with appearances on Soho Radio, Refuge Wordlwide, AAJA, and most notably Balamii Radio.

London based producer Beringei looks to explore deeper into the sounds that brings us all together as people. Whether it be through ethereal instrumentation to let your mind wander or rhythm focused to help us reconnect with those around us.
