What they say:

Clockworks is a new restaurant and bar based in an industrial warehouse that can trace roots back to the mid-18th century. Originally used as a merchant house, the new restaurant has kept many of the original features, and complements the industrial vibe with red brickwork and exposed metal pipes. The venue's chefs draw on culinary influences from around the world and have created a menu of traditional recipes that have all been slightly tweaked and twisted in modern ways. And of course, the bar frames every experience here, fully stocked with a range of craft beers, fine wines and international spirits.

What we say:

You've probably walked passed this building a hundred times and have never really taken any note of it. Apparently having been used by squatters for decades, it's now been spruced up, and the bar and restaurant work in tandem to offer a laidback dining experience. But the biggest challenge facing the venue will be in holding onto the building's original character while also looking like an appealing dinner location. Keep an ear out for the name, have a feeling Clockworks will do just fine.
