Your frosty-weather prayers have been answered by this cosy pop-up at The Club House.

Between cold winds, short daylight hours and the impending doom of Christmas shopping, it's going to take more than a fuzzy blanket and a lukewarm mug of mulled wine to get you through this season. Luckily, Liverpool ONE's The Club House has brought back its popular winter lodges for a third year.

In collaboration with Moneky47 gin, the city centre venue has gone with a German black forest theme. With that, the Bavarian-style huts are decked out like a mountain-top haunt, boasting twinkling lights, yuletide garlands and a glowing fireplace, alongside fluffy throws and velvet pillows. There's also a great menu of tasty delights to warm up your insides, including the ‘turkey with all the trimmings’ hanging kebab and a lip-smacking chocolate orange cookie dough.

Naturally, there will be all kinds of festive cocktails on the menu, such as the frangipane daiquiri, which mixes Avallen Calvados, Appleton Estate rum, almond syrup, apple juice and citrus – it’s basically like a Christmas cake in a cup. On top of that, expect refreshing tank beers, wines and bubbles.

The lodges are now open 12pm to 12am every day, set to close at the end of December. You can find them at The Club House, Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre, Chavasse Park, L2 9SQ. Did that tickle your festive fancy? Check out more of the city's best winter pop-ups here.
