The Club House is an adorable adults retreat found in the midst of a busy shopping centre. 

Do you dream of escaping it all this winter but you just can’t get away? Do you want a mini-retreat right here in the city? Do you sip drinks with your pinkie up? If you answered yes to all those questions, you will be very pleased to know The Club House is opening The Lodge, Liverpool’s very own ‘timeless recreational retreat’ with a Pop-Up Cinema where you eat a three course meal during the film.

The Lodge is basically upper-middle class Butlins: come here for a cocktail and their talented mixologists can teach you how to shake one up at their many masterclasses, or gather some chums together and face off against each other in Scandinavia's (alleged) favourite pub game, Shuffleboard. Even the pop-up cinema is schmancy, where you can watch classic films in the cosy lodge, all while you indulge in a two-or-three course meal. Think watching The Goonies while feasting on rotisserie chicken with creamed kale. So if pre-Christmas work is getting you down, you can pay a visit to this fancy-pants little retreat in the middle of the city and everything might not feel so bad.

The Club House is found by Liverpool One Shopping Centre and is open Monday to Thursday 11am - 12pm, Friday & Saturday 11am to 1am and Sunday 11am to 11pm, with films on between Tuesday 10th October and Thursday 26th October.
