Liverpool's first ever food hall sets up shop this summer in the old Cains Brewery

Baltic Market's line up of street food and craft drink vendors will constantly change throughout the year.

Liverpool's first ever food hall is opening its doors this summer. Baltic Market will open in the heart of the city, setting up residency in the old Cains Brewery in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle area.

Baltic Market was thought up by the team at Independent Liverpool and the hotdog specialists at Meet Frank, and will showcase ten food and drink vendors at one time when it opens in June. The food hall will be based in the old Cains Brewery building and is apparently meant to be a permanent version of Independent Liverpool's annual Food and Drink Festival.

The line up of food stalls will continuously rotate to work alongside seasonal ingredients and current trends in the city's culinary circles. Better still, Baltic Market will also act as an events space, with the designers fitting a cinema screen into the main hall.

Baltic Market is scheduled to open its doors in late June. The food hall will be open four days a week and will be based in the old Cains Brewery on Stanhope Street, Liverpool, L8 5XJ.
