This Quirky Roller Disco Is Bringing Lasers, Cocktails And Cosmic Fun To Liverpool

Invisible Wind Factory Rollderdrome Cocktail Bar in Liverpool

An exciting space-themed venue has launched in Liverpool.

From Invisible Wind Factory, the team behind Kazimier, one of the city’s most-loved gig venues, comes something a little different; an immersive late-night skating rink in the heart of the North Docks.

Starting off the season with an interplanetary theme, the IWF Rollerdrome is showcasing funky lasers, light shows and even a giant floating spaceship. If that wasn’t enough, they’ve also teamed up with United Skates to bring you an incredible weekend line-up. Expect live DJs and club nights focusing on soul, funk and hip-hop, with the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble and Mr. Thing already confirmed for June.

From newbies to roller-pros, there’s something for everyone, with classes teaching the fundamentals as well as freestyle boogie events for those of you who just want to get down. They have cocktails, beers and a tasty menu of burgers, salads, fries and shakes (with LOTS of vegan options available) from Invisiburger. And even if – like us – you feel a bit like Bambi when on wheels, they also have separate tickets for non-skaters and an outdoor garden where you can enjoy a pint and a chinwag in the sun.

You can find the IWF Rollerdrome at 3 Regent Road, L2 7DS. It’s open Wednesday to Friday from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.
