A gin and disco festival is coming to Liverpool this summer

Calling all gin lovers: a festival dedicated to the stuff is popping up in Liverpool.

Forget about wading knee deep through mud, kitted out in wellies and a rain mac to get from your tiny tent to a crowded bandstand... the only festivals we're interested in are ones centred on gin. Merging two of our favourite past times - gin and music - the Gin & Disco Festival brings you a whole host of botanical-based brands, alongside fabulous cocktails and, of course, music. If gin doesn't tickle your fancy, (who even are you?) there will be plenty of alternatives, from whisky, rum and vodka, to wine, beer and tequila.

No festival would be worthy without DJs and live performers supplying a great soundtrack. This time it's all about disco, funk, soul and house, with a line up including Greg Wilson, Crazy P, Sam White and more. Following sell out shows around the country, the Gin & Disco Festival is transforming the iconic Cunard Building into a disco dream. Expect dazzling mirror balls, glitter (biodegradable, of course) and much more. So prepare to get down and boogie with a glass of your favourite botanical spirit in hand, as this pop-up is in town for one day only.

The Gin & Disco Festival takes place on 30th June from 2pm to 11pm and can be found at The Cunard Building, Brunswick Street, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1ES. Tickets are priced from £20.
