Chelsea Market is a fine-dining restaurant on Glasgow's Argyle Street, that moved into the former stomping ground of the old Boardwise shop. This daring spot is the latest addition to Lawrence McManus' prestigious collection that already includes names such as Epicures of Hyndland, Nick's and Vinyard 28.

The venue has a fresh feel about it. Large leather booths offer cosy spots to enjoy a dinner with your nearest and dearest, while the high ceilings, patterned floors and sleek bar create a weightlessness inside. Completing the serene look, the larger windows place a blanket of warm sunlight over the entire restaurant. 

The food is, of course, the headliner of the restaurant. Guest can enjoy a vast selection of classic bistro dishes. Alongside a long line-up of fresh fish dishes -  including Isle of Mull scallops and Scottish shellfish - the kitchen uses fresh cuts of meat, reared by the Brown family, to create belly-warming, traditional British dishes. To help wash it all down, the bar deals solely in carefully crafted cocktails, fine wines and delicious craft beers.
