Student Pubs in Glasgow

Slightly more laid-back and less fancy than a bar, every student needs a humble pub to call home. Whether you're looking for a place that serves up quality beers, a place with free wi-fi so you can drink and (ahem) 'work' at the same time, or just somewhere to go with friends after a lecture, we've picked some of the best student pubs in Glasgow for you. Just don't forget about that degree you're supposed to be studying for though, yeah?

Inn Deep

A popular destination with beer loving students, Inn Deep is only 10 minutes from uni and specialises in all kinds of quality draughts, bottles and kegs. Not a huge fan of beer? You can still hang out in the outdoor seating area, which right next to the River Kelvin, and chill with a book.

Dram!

Dram! (yes, with the exclamation mark) is a bright and airy watering hole with a neighbourhood feel. There's free wi-fi for the study conscious students out there, alongside tasty pub grub and purse-friendly pints, and it's only a few minutes away from Glasgow University.

The Belle

Hidden amongst the trendy West End bars and clubs, The Belle is a lovely, homely pub on Great Western Road with a welcoming atmosphere. Coffees are dirt cheap and start at just 99p, plus there's free wifi if you want to chill out and study with a sarnie.
