DJ Bars in Glasgow

When it comes to letting your hair down at the weekend, there's something much more enjoyable about a bar that has a DJ spinning some tunes instead of a battered old CD player belting out a years' old copy of "Now That's What I Call Music". Glasgow DJ bars are some of the best in the city, with deck maestros spinning out everything from chart hits to rock anthems. Whether you're looking for a lively cocktail bar or a pre-club party, Glasgow's DJs know how to bring it every weekend, so check out our rundown of DJ bars in Glasgow; unless of course, battered old CD players are your thing...we don't judge.

Record Factory

3 user reviews 3

A hot bar and club in the West End popular with both students and after-work types, the Record Faktory DJs bring you alternative rock and indie every night of the week. Their weekly Wednesday club night hosts guest DJs, with a few local celebs popping in to play some tunes. Not one for the light-hearted, this place gets loud.

Delmonica's

1 user review 3

Glasgow gay bar Delmonica's features DJs almost every night of the week. With a banging pre-club party at weekends, these guys know how to amp up the atmosphere in the Merchant City bar. Expect pop, R&B, all the best floorfillers and some cheesy guilty pleasures thrown in too. Who says DJ bars have to be all serious? Delmonica's certainly don't.

Speakeasy

1 user review 4

Another pop-tastic choice for all you cheese fans out there, Speakeasy brings you the best chart tunes and camp classics. A Merchant City gay bar, Speakeasy is popular with open minded folk looking for a carefree night and with DJs bringing the fun time party tunes, who needs a club when you've got Glasgow DJ bars this banging?

Hillhead Bookclub

9 user reviews 4

The DJs at Hillhead Bookclub play some seriously cool music. Granted, you may not be able to identify many - or any - of the tracks, but that's probably because their DJs actively seek out rare beats. Expect to hear a lot of funk and soul coming from the turntables (yes, turntables, none of this laptop stuff!) at this fun Glasgow bar.

Nice 'N' Sleazy

5 user reviews 5

Glasgow's number one destination for the city's cool kid and hipsters. Every weekend at this Sauchiehall Street bar, Sleazy's DJs take to the decks and spin all manner of tunes - lo-fi indie, garage rock, disco and house, to name but a few. Head downstairs for the dancefloor, or stay upstairs if you don't feel like leaving your seat and your White Russian.

Moskito

2 user reviews 5

Hosting established DJs who have combined experience of more than 50 years, Moskito is a Bath Street bar that takes its music seriously. A fun party bar in the City Centre, the DJs at Moskito are experts in house classics and hip-hop, so don't ask them to play Justin Bieber - it won't go down well.

Hummingbird

5 user reviews 4

One of Hummingbird's many crazy themed-rooms, the Diskoteka, is an underground club featuring some of Glasgow's finest DJs with a penchant for old school disco and funk. With half price cocktails, and a lively crowd, Hummingbird is a brilliant Bath Street DJ bar for those of you looking for a chilled out evening with top tunes.
