If you're not sure what to do for New Year's Eve then head to The Three Sisters, as they've got all sorts going on. Their Around The World Hogmanay kicks off at 9am, celebrating the moment it turns midnight in different countries. Think Australian-style barbecue from 10am, DJs in the courtyard all day and a hog roast in the afternoon.

If you want to come along to their evening party from 8pm, complete with live music and confetti cannons, then it will set you back £35 per person. There'll also be karaoke from 9pm until midnight, and the doors are open until 5am.

With sites on George Street and St James Quarter, The Alchemist is hosting dining and drinks, where you'll be treated to a fantastic selection of delicious eats accompanied by a curious collection of creative cocktails that are sure to dazzle and amaze.

Alongside your colourful, bubbling concoctions, there's an international menu to get stuck into. Expect everything from lobster mac 'n' cheese to coconut tofu curry and rib eye steak with fries, followed by a miso caramel chocolate brownie.

All Bar One is always a top choice for affordable food and drink, whipping up some of the best cocktails around. Expect a vibrant atmosphere and laid-back interiors, with a menu that ranges from beef brisket tacos to garlic and chilli prawns or haggis bon bons.

This New Year's Eve, they're promising four tasty small plates and two glasses of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Champagne. Or if you're just after the booze, there are plenty of drinks packages on offer too.

A sophisticated, two-floor venue in the New Town, Lady Libertine is a top choice for Hogmanay dining. The sleek, dark interiors feature exposed beams and brick walls, alongside marble tables and comfy booths to cosy up in.

This New Year's Eve, they're offering two seatings at 5pm and 8pm. For £75 per person, you'll receive six courses and Champagne - think dry-aged beef fillet, tempura cod with pea puree, beetroot carpaccio and more. Plus, there'll be live entertainment on the night.

Head down to The Botanist in St James Quarter for a New Year's Eve to remember, soundtracked by their live house band. Tickets cost just £15 per person, including a welcome cocktail and a glass of fizz at midnight.

For an extra £35 per head, you can also enjoy a sumptuous three-course meal. We're talking pan-fried sea bass, hanging tofu kebabs, sirloin steak and so much more.

BrewDog Edinburgh is putting a retro spin on New Year's Eve with Midnight Mojo, a 70s-inspired party designed for dancing straight into 2026. Kicking off from 7pm, the night leans into soul, funk, disco and glam rock.

A £20 ticket gets you entry plus access to an exclusive drinks menu that's unusually kind on the wallet for New Year's Eve. Beers start at £1.95, including Cold Beer, while favourites like Punk IPA, Hazy Jane, Lost Lager and Wingman are £2.45. Spirits, mixers and wine are £2.95, and cocktails are £3.95 across the board, from espresso martinis to margaritas.
