What they say:

Taking over from the Cocktail Shack, The Fix is the latest venue from the team behind offbeat, inventive and environmentally-minded restaurant The Set. The new little drinking spot, which adjoins the existing restaurant within the Artist Residence hotel, offers a small but sensational menu of eclectic cocktails. From the Willy Tonka - an indulgent rum, banana, chocolate and tonka bean tipple - to the Moscow Swizzle and the green tea and tequila concoction, the bar uses ingredients from the Set kitchen to ensure minimum waste across the two sites, as well as a naturally evolving list of seasonal drinks.

What we say:

Bringing some very exciting new tipples to Brighton town centre, this cool cocktail lounge has set up shop in the Artist Residence hotel. Open from 5pm everyday for hotel guests and the general public alike, this quirky bar offers a slim but stimulating range of house drinks. Using ingredients from The Set's kitchen, the cocktails at The Fix are fruit and vegetable-based, with The Big Apple (sage, apple, celery, bourbon), the Running Out Of Thyme (cocchi americano, lavender, thyme, citrus and gin) and the Root Awakening (beetroot, almond milk, Montelobos and coconut rum) being standout additions to the bar's seasonally changing menus.
