Have you heard of Archie's? No, no, not the comics. After making its splash in Manchester, burger joint Archie's has arrived in Birmingham and it’s showcasing top-notch American grub. The venue is based on the fictional diner in teen film ‘License to Drive’. Located off the corner of Lower Temple Street and Stephenson Street, this spot is decked out with hot pink walls and Instaworthy retro decor.

So what can you expect on the menu? We hope you like comfort eats because they offer a tonne of double-stacked burgers and crispy sandwiches. In particular, the Nashville sounds delicious as it comes with buttermilk fried chicken, lettuce, pickles, a Tennessee-inspired sauce, and sriracha mayo – perfect if you like it nice and spicy. Plus, its boohooMan with blue (yes, blue) buns and hot Cheeto stuffed burger are both equally an Instagrammable moment. Be sure to leave room for all kinds of sides, from BBQ jerk wings to macaroni bites and ooey-gooey cheesy tots topped with jalapenos.

If that wasn’t enough to draw you in, the kitchen is also whipping up supreme milkshakes based on celebs. Big music lover? Princess Pia Mia is a decadent marriage between your favourite chocolatey goodies - Kinder Bueno and Oreos. And if you love boxing, it might be worth trying The Mayweather, which is Gold Bar, toffee and red sherbet flavoured – it’s a real knockout.
