comedy show where Matt Hobs talks about how the worlds of humans
and badgers collide. The show takes us on Hobs’
journey from a passing interest in badgers, to an obsession that
leads to him standing in a field looking at a caged, frightened
badger caught up in the confusion of the bovine TB debate.
We’ll learn about the European badger and its dachshund nemesis,
the presidential American badger, the world-famous internet
sensation that is the honey badger and many more.

About Matt
Matt Hobs is a proud Bristolian, scientist and silly sausage.
Following a PhD in Biochemistry, Matt started his comedy
journey in 2012. Matt set about combining his two loves,
stand-up
and science. Drawing on his background as a scientist,
Matt explains science and scientific principles. He
makes complicated concepts simple, understandable
and hilarious. 100%
Badgers is Matt’s 4th hour show, following 2019's ‘Bristolian
of Science’ 2022's ‘Follow the Science’ and 2023's
‘Moontalker’. Matt is also the co-creator and host of
Stand-Up Science, a science-themed stand-up
compilation show, co-produced with Jericho Comedy, winner

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
