A mind-reading show based on the true story of the Cold War’s psychic spies.

In 1972, the Cold War took an unusual turn. The CIA learnt that Russia was investing in mind-control research and achieving some remarkable results.

Not wanting to be left behind, US scientists began a secret project to train civilians as psychic spies: stealing secrets, manipulating memories and finding out if thoughts can kill.

Drawing on 100,000 pages of declassified documents, David Narayan attempts the CIA’s experiments, seeing if a modern audience can use the same techniques.

A show that’s as disturbing as it is astonishing.

"The Psychic Project by @narayanmagic was a festival highlight. A very very smart and engaging show." @strongmisgiving

“Such a gem! Love the idea, love the execution, great interaction, good "tricks", funny, scary - highly recommended if you enjoy learning while laughing while being scared and impressed at the same time. And who doesn't?!” EdFringe.com

"Thoroughly enjoyed the Psychic Project show by @narayanmagic today. It quite literally blew my mind. #FrockAtTheFringe #MindExperiments" @WTFrock_Comedy

“The show teaches you a lot about the (real) CIA investigations into psychic abilities, mixed with demonstrations of psychic tests that are in turns funny, tense and impressive. The ending of the show had me on the edge of my seat.” EdFringe.com
