What they say:

Owned by Camerons Brewery, one of the last family brewers in the North East, this forthcoming Birmingham City Centre pub will join a large number of other Cameron Brewery venues across the Midlands and North East. With a focus on craft beer, the bar will boast 20 keg lines and 10 cask ale lines serving a rotating line up of beers, ales and ciders from Birmingham and beyond. Food will also stay in line with the venue's focus on craft beer with the bar's favourite beverages being incorporated into the dishes letting both the Head of Steam team and the customers to explore beer pairings with their meals.

What we say:

With great beers, delicious food and eye-popping exteriors, The Head of Steam seems a great addition to Birmingham's city centre drinking scene. Just a short walk from Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill stations, the pub is the latest venture from North East family brewers Camerons Brewery. With a definitive focus on craft beer, the bar will host a 30-strong revolving line up of beers, ales and ciders, along with a selection of premium wines, spirits and the odd cheeky cocktail. One aspect that really takes this bar to the next level is its curious and eye-catching windows. When closed they look like giant steampunk ship's wheels, but when opened, the huge glass frontage will evoke the sense of being outside to further enhance the customer's experience.
