Craft beer, pin curls and the charming days of cinema gone by

As if making a mark on Birmingham's baking community with a single whiff of her scrumptious macaroon's wasn't enough, Miss Macaroon thought she'd saunter her way on to Birmingham's pop-up scene with charming vintage flair. Whilst there are plenty of pop-up cinema events bustling around Birmingham with The Electric Cinema and Sunflower Lounge to name just a few, Miss Macaroon has brought a dash of kitsch attitude to a new event in September.

Birmingham's macaroon mistress Miss Macaroon invites the city for a taste of the 1950s with a special screening of Todd Haynes' 'Far From Heaven'.

Whilst the location has yet to be disclosed, Birmingham's Macaroon patron has spilled all about the vintage antics set for this unique outdoor cinema event in the city. Encouraging guests to don their best in '50s finery, there's set to be a whole host of retro adventures from a live swing band and vintage make-up artists, to locally brewed craft beer and ales to dapper little food hampers available. Not only will this be one of the city's most individual cinematic events yet, Miss Macaroon deserves a right royal pat on the back as profits raised on the day will re-invested in young care-leavers and ex-offenders.

Nab yourself a ticket at £28 for the whole event or £12 for the movie only and don your finest pin curls as Miss Macaroon promises a thoughtful and tasty venture back in time.
