The Station

Hard to miss, The Station is a bar in Kings Heath, and possibly one of the quirkiest.

Mounted T-Rex heads? Ostrich themed kitsch wallpaper and vintage chesterfield booths? There's all that and more at The Station where contemporary meets the unorthodox. From it's period Victorian features to its whopping beer garden fit for any Vitamin D lover, The Station has style and comfort in mind where the two create a unique atmosphere.

From great pub lunches in Birmingham to monthly specials menu's that highlight the produce of local suppliers and farmer; The Station has suburbia at heart where no beer bottle has gone unturned in ensuring that this kitsch bar promotes the charming village town that it resides in. Not only promising the best in local grub, The Station looks set to focus their interests on local talent too where Jazz nights and live music in Birmingham don't go a miss.

Fab, quirky place - just with they could have their own website with band listings a few weeks ahead :) also it would be good if they could increase there selection of rums :)

Dark, dingy place. Decor out of poundland. Full of builders. Not a pleasant place to be.

This is the second time this place has been refurbished recently and it's still not up to Kings Heath standard. It looks good but there's a poor selection of drinks and the menu could be improved. They seem to be focusing on budget rather than quality. It's still well worth a look though, especially when you're already visiting the other (better) pubs in the Heath - Hare & Hounds, Cherry Red's, Loco Lounge and Fletcher's.

I love a good deer's head with the best of them and this place looks amazing, I didn't know a bar could make Kings Heath so cool. The beer garden looks great too, can't wait to try the place out when I get the chance
