With the popular 80s revival over recent years, are we surprised when cool bars decked out in panelled wooden booths, vintage phones and speckled tabletops start popping up? Absolutely not. The latest opening is Belfast's Queens Quarter spot, Southside Social. Here you not only get the throwback vibes, but also a hidden Chinese restaurant for when hunger pangs strike on your night out.

Taking over the kitchen is Lucky Duck, which promises authentic food for eating in or takeaway, ranging from classic sweet and sour chicken to moreish black bean beef. Swilling it down is the restaurant's own namesake cocktail: a South Seas spritzer of Smirnoff, Campari, lemon juice and a dash of soda water.

Otherwise, the relaxed main bar has you covered - think a 'weed-groni' whipped up from Campari, sweet vermouth, mezcal and CBD-infused peach-ginger soda, or a retro Parma Violets-flavoured pour. Plus, there's a roster of world craft beers for all you hops fans.

Your motto after visiting? I just can't get get enough.
