The Horse and Jockey is nestled in the heart of Chorlton, opposite Chorlton Green, this pub is housed inside a building that has stood tall for over 500 years.
This prestigious pub has a beautiful interior with cosy nooks and a traditional look throughout, freshly renovated when the team behind The Black Friar took over in October 2025. There's a beautiful beer terrace located at the front of the pub overlooking Chorlton Green, too.
At the bar, you'll be spoiled for choice with award-winning lagers and ales, with a wide selection of wine and spirits. Proper pub food focused on seasonality, British ingredients and classic dishes - including a glorious Sunday roast - makes up the food offering.
