Wine has a new challenger to food matching...He is the underdog that has risen quickly to the forefront...He punches with malty strength, dances like a hop vine in the wine and always has a twist up his sleeve… he is beer! Can the experienced wine shake off this challenge with his noble grapes, his fruit driven determination and tannic power?
Join us for a battle between our wine and beer experts. Who can pair your food better? Our in-house beer experts, or the wine experts from Alliance Wines? You be the judge!
The evening will begin with an introduction to our four-course dinner, followed by our beer and wine experts as they begin their battle on why their drink suits the dish the best. We then ask you, to tell us what you think pairs the best with a score card. This process will then continue for the subsequent rounds.
At the end of the meal all the scores are tallied and an overall winner is announced.
Tickets are £50 per person and must be purchased in advance to confirm your space. Tickets include a four course set menu* and each course includes a 75ml glass of wine and ⅓ pint of beer to match.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
