The Betsey Wynne Presents Swanbourne Music Festival

After the success of the inaugural Swanbourne Music Festival in 2017, The Betsey Wynne are proud be bringing the event, affectionately know by locals as 'Betsey Fest', back for a second year this August Bank Holiday. Set in the village of Swanbourne, in the heart of the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside and just a short drive from Milton Keynes, Swanbourne Music Festival is a great day out for the whole family. Join us for a day packed with quality food and drink, arts & crafts and live music from local bands as well as chart-topping household names alike. 


Headline Artist: Scouting For Girls

A decade since they first burst on to the music scene, Scouting For Girls are still entertaining fans at venues and festivals across the UK with their unmistakable pop anthems. They will be bringing all their classics to the Buckinghamshire countryside this August bank holiday when they take to the stage at Swanbourne Music Festival.

Their triple platinum self-titled debut album hit the top of the UK charts when it was released in 2007 and produced much loved hits 'She's So Lovely', 'Elvis Aint Dead', 'Heartbeat' and the UK number 1 'This Ain't A Love Song'.

To mark their 10th Anniversary Scouting For Girls released a new album 'Ten Add Ten: The Very Best Of' which boasted ten of their much loved singles as well as ten brand new hits including the infectious 'Dancing In The Daylight'. The band also embarked on a massive headline tour of the UK as well as taking the stage at a number of UK festival including V Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

Entry is subject to the following terms and conditions of Oakman Inns (“the Event Promoter”):

EVENT RULES: - Tickets

1.    Tickets may only be purchased by individuals aged 18 or over.

2.    Admission will not be granted to anyone who does not hold a valid ticket. 

3.    Ticket prices shall be those stated on the website at the time of purchase. Please note: the prices advertised may increase the closer it gets to the event.

4.    Tickets are non refundable (except in the event of cancellation by the Event Promoter).

5.    The Event Promoter will not be held responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen prior to the event but such tickets may be reissued at the discretion of the Event Promoter.

6.    Reselling this ticket for profit or commercial gain makes it void.

7.    The Event Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your purchase of the ticket or attendance at the event (including any disappointment or loss or damage to any personal property you bring to the venue (we advise you not to bring anything of value to the event) but excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused as a result of the Event Promoters negligence, which shall be unlimited. However, if found in any circumstances to be liable, the Event Promoter’s liability shall be limited to the price paid for the ticket to the event.



AT THE VENUE



8.    All persons under 18 attending the event must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

9.    Whilst Event Promoter will make every effort to resolve any unforeseen difficulties that may arise during the event, the Event Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission or exclude any member of the public who becomes abusive or who behaves inappropriately or in any other reasonable circumstance.

10.  To ensure everyone’s safety, the Event Promoter may conduct occasional security searches and ask to look in your bag prior to entry into the Event. Please do not be offended.

11.  The Event Promoter reserves the right to change the programme line up/artists without notification or make an alteration to the advertised details for the performance at short notice.  If this happens then the Event Promoter is not obliged to refund your money or exchange tickets.

12.  The Event may be professionally photographed, filmed or recorded, therefore in attending the event you consent to being filmed/photographed as a member of the audience.   If you have any objections, please contact a member of Event Promoter team on entry.

13.  The Event Promoter reserves the right to open the gates at other times in the interests of safety. 

14.  No food or drink may be brought into the venue, in addition, gazebos, tented structures, barbecues, fires, cookers, lawn candles or naked flames are not permitted and will be confiscated prior to entry.  No ball games or similar are permitted at the venue.

15.  Performances will take place in all weathers.  No seating or shelter is provided. If raining you may want to bring an umbrella!

16.  No animals are allowed into the venue apart from service dogs.
