Part of WARNINGS TO THE CURIOUS: An online Christmas ghost story festival.
Based on “The Rose Garden” by M.R. James, the story is transposed to a modern setting in the English countryside.
In a quaint, quiet village in Wiltshire, Mary is determined to finish her late wife’s passion project: planting a beautiful rose garden at the rear of their property. But beneath the ancient soils of
this bucolic village, something lies dormant, something Mary may have disturbed…
Written and performed by W. S. Conçalves and Katja Quist
