Rob J. Hunter
Stir All Night - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwULF-lY0dg...
Robert J. Hunter has taken the Blues and Americana scene by storm with his gruff and powerful voice.
Raised on the island of Alderney, where he began honing his craft at a young age, Robert J.
Hunter has come a long way from his three mile long island home.
With a sound that echoes the likes of Free, Glen Hansard, Drive By Truckers, Whiskeytown, Rory Gallagher, The Faces, Bruce Springsteen, and The Band, RJH is a performer capable of
tearing off the roof, and putting it back together again with a reassuring pat on the shoulder with his mix of barnstorming overdriven foot-stomping guitar and delicate acoustic ballads so stirring that you could hear a pin drop.

Establishing The Robert J Hunter Band in 2014, Robert and his band have been turning heads across the UK and Europe with their tireless touring and entertaining, showcasing their truly
original blend of genre-bending blues, rock n’ roll and Americana. This road worn, well-oiled engine has been honed to super tight perfection by sheer hard work and volume of shows across continents. Be it a solo show or
the whole band together, audiences are unlikely to experience the same show twice, with an ever-growing catalogue of eclectic songs.

Previous releases from the band, ‘Stir All Night’, ‘Hurricane’, ‘Suitcase Blues’ and
‘Good People’ have received rave reviews worldwide, with tracks reaching number one in the iTunes Blues Chart and the IBBA Charts on several occasions. Robert and the band have also earned radio play on BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing, Planet Rock and global independent radio stations.

His new album, ‘Nothing But Rust’ is set for release in 2021.
Robert has very much claimed his spot as a meteoric figure in the Blues and Americana scene, with live performances at such renowned venues as Ronnie Scotts, The 100 Club and The Cavern Club. However, these iconic spots only scratch the surface of Robert’s
performance history. Robert is a regular at Camden’s famous talent farm, the Spiritual Bar, the place responsible for artists such as Jade Bird, Michael Kiwanuka and Jack Broadbent.
Robert J Hunter has been a stalwart of the Sofar Sounds circuit, electrifying audiences across the globe, from New York’s Times Square, to downtown Nashville, the metropolis of Frankfurt, the arches of East London and Dublin’s Temple Bar.

Robert has supported the likes of Wilko Johnson, The Animals and the Kris Barras Band to name but a few. Robert’s material was also selected as a finalist in the UK Blues Challenge
and The International Songwriting Competition (ISC), very much planting his flag as an artist to keep a keen eye on. Robert J Hunter is no stranger to the festival circuit either, boasting
performances at Wilderness, The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival, The Long RoadFestival and The Great Escape Festival, among many others.
